How it works

The flow is intentionally simple. Each step keeps the cookie, the gesture, and the message at the center
Tap the cookie
Tap to break the cookie. On your first visit, the app also prepares your on-chain profile in the same transaction, so setup and your first opening happen together
Approve and reveal
Review the transaction in your wallet and sign. Once it confirms on Solana, the cookie opens and your message appears in the app
Keep opening cookies
Return throughout the day to open more cookies, up to the daily limit set by the on-chain program. Your open count and stats are stored in your profile

Your interaction happens on Solana
OpenCookie uses a Solana program to record cookie breaks. The blockchain is part of the product — not decoration
Every break is a transaction
When you open a cookie, the app sends a break_cookie instruction to the OpenCookie program. Your wallet approves it like any other Solana transaction.
Your profile tracks activity
Each wallet has an on-chain profile that stores how many cookies you have opened in total and how many you have opened today.
Non-custodial by design
OpenCookie never asks for your seed phrase. The app prepares transactions and sends them to your wallet for review and signature. We do not hold your funds

Created on your first interaction
The first time you break a cookie, OpenCookie initializes an on-chain profile account for your wallet
One-time account rent
Creating the profile requires a small SOL deposit for Solana account rent. This is standard network storage cost — not an additional OpenCookie service fee.
Combined into one step
On your first cookie, profile creation and the cookie break are bundled into a single transaction, so you only approve once.
Rent may be recoverable
You can close your profile from the app. When the account is closed, the rent deposit is returned to your wallet, subject to Solana network rules
Messages
Short prompts, not predictions
Each cookie reveals a brief thought, reflection, or gentle nudge — meant to make the moment enjoyable, not to tell the future
When you break a cookie, the on-chain program returns a message index. The Android app maps that index to one of 1,000 short English messages bundled inside the application.
The message text is not generated on-chain and is not personalized server-side. It comes from the local message collection shipped with the app
Not fortune-telling
Messages are prompts for reflection or small actions — not horoscopes, predictions, or professional advice.
Index on-chain, text on-device
Solana records which message index you received. The readable text is resolved locally from the app bundle

OpenCookie is in active development and not published yet. When it launches, it will be available on Seeker and other Solana Mobile devices through the Solana dApp Store. The app will connect through Mobile Wallet Adapter to Seed Vault on Seeker

On Seeker, your Seed Vault wallet holds SOL for network fees, the program fee on each cookie break, and the one-time profile rent on your first cookie
