OPEN COOKIE

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the OpenCookie Android application, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

2. What OpenCookie Is

OpenCookie is a non-custodial Solana Mobile application that lets you break virtual fortune cookies through on-chain transactions and receive short messages bundled in the app. OpenCookie is not a wallet provider, exchange, investment service, or prediction platform.

3. User Responsibility for Transactions

You are solely responsible for all transactions you approve through Seed Vault. Before signing, verify every detail shown in the wallet — including recipients, amounts, network fees, account rent, and the program fee on each break. OpenCookie prepares transaction payloads but does not sign on your behalf

4. Irreversibility of Solana Transactions

Transactions confirmed on the Solana blockchain are irreversible. Once confirmed, they cannot be undone, canceled, or reversed by OpenCookie or any third party. OpenCookie is not responsible for funds sent to incorrect addresses or for errors in transaction details you approve.

5. Fees and Costs

Using OpenCookie may involve several distinct costs:

  • Solana network fees: Standard transaction fees apply to every on-chain interaction. These are set by the Solana network and your wallet.
  • One-time account rent: The first time you interact, the app creates an on-chain profile account for your wallet. This requires a SOL deposit for Solana account rent. This is network storage cost, not an OpenCookie service charge.
  • Program fee: Each break_cookie action includes a program fee in SOL, defined in on-chain configuration (price_lamports) and transferred to the program treasury vault. The amount may be updated on-chain by the program administrator. OpenCookie does not collect fees outside what the on-chain program defines.

All amounts are displayed in your wallet before you sign. You are responsible for ensuring your wallet holds sufficient SOL.

6. On-Chain Profile and Rent Recovery

Your on-chain profile stores cookie-opening activity counters linked to your wallet address. You may close your profile through the app, which sends a close_user instruction to the program. When the account is closed, the rent deposit associated with the profile account is returned to your wallet, subject to Solana network rules and account state at the time of closure.

7. Daily Usage Limits

The on-chain program enforces a daily limit on cookie breaks per profile, configured in program settings (max_calls_per_day). The limit resets based on UTC day boundaries as implemented by the program. Attempts to exceed the limit will fail on-chain.

8. Non-Custodial Wallet Model

OpenCookie is non-custodial. We do not store, access, or control your private keys or seed phrase. On Seeker, your digital assets remain in Seed Vault. OpenCookie connects through Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter and only requests permission to submit transaction payloads for your review and signature

9. Messages Are Not Advice

Cookie messages are short prompts for reflection or action bundled in the application. They are selected by mapping an on-chain message index to local app content. They are not financial, medical, legal, or investment advice, and they are not predictions or fortune-telling. You use them at your own discretion.

10. Availability

OpenCookie is being prepared for the Solana dApp Store on Solana Mobile devices. While the store submission is in progress, the official Android APK is available directly from our website for compatible devices. Program configuration, fees, and daily limits may change before and after launch; the application reads live configuration from the Solana network.

11. Eligibility

By using OpenCookie, you represent that you are legally permitted to use blockchain applications and digital asset services in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable local laws and regulations.

12. "As Is" Basis

The application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the application, the Solana network, RPC providers, or wallet applications will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted at all times.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of OpenCookie shall not be liable for any loss of funds, data, or other damages arising from your use of or inability to use the application, including losses resulting from Solana network conditions, wallet errors, RPC failures, on-chain program behavior, or user-approved transactions. You use the application at your own risk.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
